The project is a living (literally–cluck, cluck) metaphor for the consequences of globalizion in terms of culture and genetics. By cross-breeding chicken varieties from across the globe in order to arrive at a universal chicken, the artist explores the blurred lines between creation and destruction, growth and mutation, degeneration and diversification.

 

Plus it kind of reminds me of a certain family of two-headed opossums that has taken up residence in my bedroom…

Take a look at the works of Sol Lewitt, Anish Kapoor, Rachel Whiteread, Louise Nevelson, Jessica Stockholder, and Cece Cole for direction.  These artists approach architecture and geometry in very interesting ways.  Make a sculpture that combines architecture and geometry.  You will incorporate a drawing into your piece.
